An Epic Frantic Mantric Mad Mystery Game of Tango Telephone

have you ever had a special luminous numinous sweet kind of connection with Someone Strange? meeting them sanely in the common depths of tango and making mad things happen. the answer is of course you have, or you wouldn't still be dancing this horrifically hard and hazardous dance. and you certainly wouldn't have found out about this crazy tea-party game that is flying across the planet.

here is what it is. there are these Numies. what is a Numie you ask. a Numie is a special tango token representing the sharing of a Special Connection. there are only a very few of them existing in the world. if you have got one, it means you have become one of the Bearers of the Numie.

the Bearer of the Numie has several responsibilities. he or she must:

1. care for and protect the Numie while it is under their guard

2. convey, immediately upon receipt of the Numie, the Numie's whereabouts to the Coordinator of Numinous Bearings (the CNB) at the Central Numie Tracking Agency, World Headquarters, based in New York, NY. this can be done by email, voicemail, or via the world wide web.

3. select, carefully and with swiftness of spirit, a succeeding Bearer and entrust the Numie to him or her in a special Entrustment Ceremony, charging them with all the related responsibilities of Bearerdom.

the Numies are scheduled to be released from New York City in the Early Days of the Great Year of 2004. when the first Numie returns to New York after having completed its World Travel Requirements, THE GAME WILL BE OVER and grand glad celebratory tidings will be undertaken in the form of a Massive Mad Welcome-Home Milonga Party for all Bearers and their Guests and All Tango Dancers The World Over.

in the meantime, the CNB has arranged a special test of Numie Tracking Systems in the U.S.A only. THIS TEST IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW, AND TWO NUMIES ARE PRESENTLY AT LARGE. when both Numies are returned to NYC having successfully passed this test, the precise date and time of the Start of "Pass The Numie - Planetwide" will be determined.

it is our hope that this Exciting Start will prove to be sooner rather than later, and to that end let us all play the prequel game with great gossipy enthusiasm while, of course, simultaneously strictly adhering to The Rules Of The Game. the Numies must come home!
