Numies"
A Numie is a special Tango token symbolizing the sharing of a Special Connection.
At this time there are only two of them existing in the world! So the fact that
you are in Direct Possession of one of them makes you Very Special Indeed!
"Numie
Care and Handling"
You may keep the Numie for up to maximally 2 weeks from today (though hopefully
you will be able to Entrust it sooner!) You can keep the Numie in your pocket
or wear it around your neck. If you put your Numie in your bag, please be sure
that there is nothing Heavy in the vicinity because it could crush the Numie.
Be sure to take your Numie with you to Milongas.
We advise you to be discreet about your Numie. Tell people that you have it
on a strictly "need-to-know" basis (i.e. you could tell a friend who
might be able to help you Select the Next Bearer). If your Numie is tarnished,
you can polish it using a soft cloth. Do not lose the Numie.

You got this Numie because somebody really enjoyed dancing with you! Also,
they thought you would be a Responsible and Entrustworthy Bearer who perhaps
might be Instrumental in helping the Numie fulfill its Travel Requirements.

You should Entrust this Numie
to the very next person who you have a Happy Time dancing with. Of course, you
also need to make sure that they are willing to play by the Rules of This Game.
And if they happen to be travelling to a place that the Numie has not yet been,

ABOUT BEARER SELECTION
"The
Entrustment Ceremony"
Entrusting the Numie is a simple affair indeed. You simply have to (a) Dance
with the Entrustee comprehensively; (b) Make them promise to Pass the Numie
in accordance with the Rules of the Game; and (c) Give them the Numie.
"Diary
of Numinous Bearings"
This Numie has already been many places, Borne by many other Tango dancers!
If you would like to see all the links in the Great Chain of Numinosity to date,
you may visit the Central Numie Knowledge Base, which houses the Diary of Numinous
Bearings, a complete log of all Entrustments of your Numie.
Due to the Nature of the Information housed at the Central Numie Knowledge Base,
access to it is restricted to holders of a special Password. Now that you have
got the Numie, we will give you the Password. It is "chasingnumies".
You may use Username numinaker16. You will also need to know your Numie's ID
number. This number is encoded on the back of your Numie, and if you examine
the Numie carefully you will find it there. GO

"Numie
Travel Requirements"
During its U.S. Flight of Fancy, the Numie is required to dance upon 10 different
states across 3 different time zones before returning to NYC Validated. Please
note that this Game is merely a prelude to the Planetwide Rendition, scheduled
to begin Next Year, a Great Race involving 5 Numies which will be required to
dance upon the national soil of 30 different countries across 4 continents.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
"On
Numinosity"
There is really no special point to all this Numinosity except for the point
of Fun. Also, we are going to have a big Party each time a Numie returns home
having completed its Travel Requirements. These will be called Validation Banquets,
and everyone is invited. The Second Validation Banquet will mark the end of
the U.S. Test of the Game of the Numies, and the beginning of the Planetwide
Rendition.
"The
Rules of the Game"
There are many rules to this game, which you can peruse at your leisure.
But the main two Rules that need to concern you right now are The Rule of
Reportage and The Rapid Release Requirement.
The Rule
of Reportage requires that you Report on Numinous Bearings within 48 hours
of receiving the Numie. So if you have not done this yet, you should do it now!
The Rapid Release Requirement requires that you release the Numie to
a new Bearer within 1-2 weeks of receiving it.
We are here to help you meet all your Requirements in a joyful and numinous
manner. If you suspect that you will have trouble meeting the Rapid Release
Requirement, please do not hesistate to contact the Office of the Coordinator
of Numinous Bearings, because you may be eligible for an Extension. PERUSE

The Next Things you should
do include:
1. Report
Numinous Bearings! (I.e., Tell us where the Numie is!)
2. Start thinking Opportunities for Entrustment that might arise within the
Upcoming Couple Weeks -- particular places or people of unusual numinosity that
you know.
3. Send a photograph of You to the CNB, if you'd like to, so that we might include
you in the Great Hall of Bearers. The CNB's email address is CNB@NuminousTidings.com

4. Join The
Confederacy of Numinakers so that you will be sure to be invited to the
Massive Mad Welcome-Home Milonga Party, and to be kept abreast of Numinous News.
